Have you just started clipping in? Are you looking to join a group ride (ours maybe?), but feel unsure about the ins and outs of riding in a group? Do you simply want to work on a few aspects of road riding to ride your bike with more confidence? This 2 part clinic is for you! Now that the season has started, it’s time to work on a few basic skills together.
During the 1st session, we will be headed to a grass area on which we can practice some essential skills on the bike: clipping in and out, stopping from motion, hand signals, fueling on the bike, emergency reflexes and the like.
During the 2nd session, we will review those skills, and head to the road to dig a little deeper. We will focus on cornering technique and learn how to ride in a group safely and efficiently (pace, etiquette, communication).
With all these tools, you’ll be fully equipped for all your upcoming rides. Come learn with us!

Is this ride for you? At Liv Vancouver, we want to create opportunities for women to ride more and find a community of other women to ride with. This 2 day clinic is aimed at novice riders looking to learn more skills in order to gain confidence on the bike. This is a good opportunity for those learning to clip in and out of their pedals and wanting to learn the dynamics of riding in a group.
