What: Introduction to a one-night bikepacking trip
When: May 21, 6-7:00pm
Who: Have you been curious about bikepacking, but unsure where to start? Does buying all the speciality bags deter you from trying bikepacking? Do life commitments make long bikepacking trips seem unattainable? This clinic is a preparation session for our May 30-31 bikepacking trip to the Sunshine Coast. You are also welcome to join us if you can’t commit to joining us for the trip. We will talk about how to plan for an overnighter trip, what food to pack, what gear you need, and why sometimes a short trip is all it takes to feel on top of the world.
What you’ll get: You will leave informed about how to ease into bikepacking, plan and execute an overnighter. You will also learn about the bare minimum gear you need. Plus, enjoy refreshments on us!
Bring: Your questions and your curiosity, enjoy some wine and cheese, while we aim to inspire you to try bikepacking.
Cost: $10 per person donation. All proceeds are going to the Atira Women’s Resource Society.
